Central and peripheral vision

Central vision is the area of greatest visual acuity. This mainly thanks to the macula and the lens, which allow you to focus your vision in order see the greatest amount of detail. Their function is important to carry out activities such as reading, writing, driving, recognizing faces, among others.
Peripheral vision is the field of vision around the central vision. It is less sharp than central vision, but no less important for. It allows a wide sense of vision that is useful for activities such as driving, juggling, sports, etc.
Uveitis can affect both central and peripheral vision.
